Figs the doorbell, it's broken!

Figs are one of the richest plant sources of a variety of vitamins and minerals, including:
* vitamin A
* vitamin C
* vitamin K
* B vitamins
* potassium
* magnesium
* zinc
* copper
* manganese
* iron

  • help with digestion and are great for skin and hair - and is often an ingredient in face masks and shampoos. 
  • are a rich source of polyphenols, which are antioxidants that protect the human body against oxidative stress.
  • An animal study revealed that the figs were able to reduce the inflammatory cytokines during aging. Which is to say figs May have a beneficial effect on neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s for humans.
Fig leaves are not just for covering private parts. The leaves have been shown to help with diabetes management, respiratory conditions like bronchitis
I love fresh figs in a salad with walnut oil and some balsamic vinegar 😋and my favorite is putting them in my chocolate smoothie. “Complete” Heaven. (JP humor for the win!)
